2006 Federal Junior Duck Stamp Awards

On Saturday May 13, 2006, the 2006 Federal Junior Duck Stamp Awards were held at the Salato Center in Frankfort, Kentucky. During that time, many awards were presented to children who had participated in the year-long event. The goal was for each student to draw his or her favorite duck and submit that drawing for contest consideration. Well over 50 awards were handed out to the kids. Also, numerous Certificates of Appreciation were given to the various sponsors of the program. One of the Sponsors that was recognized was the Kentucky Wildlife Federation Foundation. Representing the KWFF was Harrods Creek Field and Stream Club's Secretary and 3rd District Director for the KWFF, Dan Sesit. Below are pictures of the KWFF Certificate of Appreciation, numerous award winners and pictures of some of their drawings. It is this kind of participation by the youth that makes our future so much brighter.
